About Me
Growing up, I craved different perspectives and worldly knowledge. I would search the shelves for fantasy and adventure books, imagining that I was on a mission to see the world. That dream manifested when I attended school halfway across the country. Over the next 13 years of adventure, I helped mitigate tense roommate situations as a Resident Assistant while completing immigration applications with refugees and asylees as an immigration intern. I went on to support low-income and at-risk college students as a college coach with Americorps and taught over 100 students as an adult ESL instructor. As a Software Engineer, my passion for different cultures, helping others, and being a part of a team that makes a difference are just a few of the skills I bring with me. I enjoy being a part of projects where I can continue to serve the different communities around me, both locally and globally.
